MPX24 Integra
- Benefits
The MPX24 Integra is a small batch production extruder that has been designed specifically for thermoset applications such as Powder Coating, Toners and Electronic Moulding Compounds (EMC). A chill roll and flaking unit are fully integrated into the machine for a complete process in a portable machine.
MAX³ feed system increases throughput
Baker Perkins’ patented MAX³ feed system features a re-designed feed port and screws to improve flow of material into the extruder barrel and air out of it, contributing to higher throughput. Lightweight, low density materials are now handled more efficiently, eliminating the need for side feeding, which reduces capital cost, floor space and running costs.

Versatile
Its compact design means that it can be used either in a laboratory for new product development or in a production environment for tasks such as colour matching and small batch production. Its castor-mounted base - with conveniently located plug and socket utility connections - aid portability.
Consistent and Repeatable
In all instances the MPX24 Integra delivers repeatable results that can be consistently reproduced on production scale machines. This ensures that the desired results are obtained first time, thereby improving quality and reducing costs.
Rapid Changeover
A number of features enable product changeovers to be accomplished quickly and easily. The top-opening barrel provides easy access for cleaning and the design means that a thorough clean can be achieved very quickly. It also assists with process optimization by enabling the mixing performance to be reviewed by stopping the screws and opening the barrel. In addition, the pre-assembled shafts and screws can be simply lifted out for cleaning or replacement with a different set.
