The sweet taste is usually enhanced with flavours such as chocolate, butter, caramel, spices and fruits, while additional dimensions to the texture can be provided by oats, nuts or bran. Half-coating or fully enrobing the products with chocolate can turn any plain biscuit into a high-value treat.
