Why replace a complete barrel liner whe you only need to change the part that is worn?

With the latest state-of-the-art barrel design from Baker Perkins you can upgrade your existing MPF50, 65, 80, 100 or 125 Series Twin Screw Food Extruder with a purpose-built OEM barrel retrofit package.  This incorporates all the latest features, including replaceable liner inserts, and provides significant savings in cost of ownership and downtime.

• Barrel retrofit technology produces liner replacement savings of around 50%.
• After the initial barrel retrofit, further liner replacements are limited to worn sections, not the complete liner.
• Liner inserts can be replaced by maintenance staff.
• Cost of ownership is minimised by using a combination of different insert materials in high and low wear areas of the same barrel.
