Rotary Moulders
Used mainly for producing cookies, the design of Baker Perkins’ rotary moulding dies takes full account of the forming and baking processes, resulting in dies that achieve full extraction and finished products of the required size, shape and weight.
Dies are available as one-piece or sectional rolls on plain or coated bronze or with inserts in PDR 10 or SDR 10. Test Dies and water-jacked die rolls are also available.
Both PDR 10 and SDR10 polymer materials offer enhanced release without coating (and recoating) of the die roll. PDR 10 has excellent machining properties and abrasion resistance, making it ideal for intricate product designs. The exceptionally durable SDR 10 is the choice for plain shapes that would require coating on a bronze die.
Baker Perkins has been providing a comprehensive range of aftermarket services to its customers for over 100 years. During this time the company’s name and ownership have changed but our commitment to serving our customers has not. Previously the company was known as APV Baker and before that Baker Perkins and Werner Lehara. Equipment sold under all these names is still fully supported.
