Supertex Moulder Direct Drive Upgrade

P1010321

Without proper maintenance, the chain drive of a Supertex moulder can be susceptible to excessive wear.

The new design allows complete removal of the existing chain circuit assembly, creating better access within the moulder body for maintenance of the height and side guide assemblies.

The chain maintenance is eliminated and damage to height and side guide assemblies caused by slack drive chain is alleviated.

Fast payback is achieved through reduced production downtime, with the need to stock replacement chain wheels or chain tracks completely eliminated.  Bearing failure through over tensioning of the drive chain is minimized, and a fixed parallel drive roll position ensures true tracking and improves dough piece continuity through the folding attachment. The drive motor is fully accessible and can be fitted with a drip tray if positioned over a tin track.
