Heiko Willerts has been appointed South American sales manager for the Baker Perkins range of cereal, snack and confectionery production equipment.
Heiko has extensive knowledge of Baker Perkins technology and customer requirements, having co-ordinated major projects in Europe for the past 12 years.
He is fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese.
Baker Perkins has a substantial installed base in South America, and anticipates significant business growth as social and economic conditions develop, and governments actively support growth in their indigenous food industries.
Heiko will work with an existing network of agents throughout South America, backed by the comprehensive specialist process expertise and know-how provided by Baker Perkins at Peterborough in the UK.
In breakfast cereals, Baker Perkins combines a portfolio of unit machines used worldwide with the expertise to combine them into systems producing virtually every kind of ready-to-eat breakfast cereal product.
The wide range of technologies for snack food production offered by Baker Perkins can be installed as part of a new line, or extend an existing one.
