Product development and technical support role
Martin Bond has been appointed chief engineer of the Baker Perkins confectionery business. He is responsible for technical support to the sales team, and for an ongoing development programme for the company’s range of cooking and depositing equipment.
Martin has been involved with the engineering of Baker Perkins machinery for the confectionery industry for 15 years, and previously managed the design department.
Baker Perkins continues to expand and develop its process equipment and related services for sugar confectionery. Its core AutoCook cooking and ServoForm depositing technologies are applied world-wide across a full range of products including hard candy and lollipops, toffee and caramels, fondants, jellies, soft candy and fruit snacks.
