Ongoing product development programme
Rob Francis has been appointed chief engineer of the Baker Perkins bakery machinery business. He is responsible for an ongoing product development programme for the company’s range of mixing and forming equipment for high output plant bakeries, and also supporting the sales team.
Rob has worked with Baker Perkins bakery machinery throughout his career. Following an electrical apprenticeship, he became a draughtsman, contract engineer, applications engineer and product engineer before managing the design department.
Baker Perkins is continuing a series of improvements to its Tweedy2 mixers, Accurist2 dividers and Multitex4 moulders which boost bread quality and plant efficiency through gentle dough handling.
