• Account Manager

Baker Perkins manufactures new equipment and provides a full program of rebuild, upgrade, process optimization and extension capabilities among a range of aftermarket services and is the only equipment manufacturer in the US to manufacture rotary dies.

Based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the positions below provide an attractive benefits package, which include Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance.

Account Manager

The Account Manager has direct sales responsibility for a defined sales territory, product range and/or industry segment for capital equipment and aftermarket projects. Has responsibility for all aspects of the customer relationship to achieve the goal of meeting or exceeding the annual orders and margin target.

Qualified candidates must have the ability to work pro-actively with his/her customers and prioritize multiple complex projects and/or tasks. Must be able to effectively communicate across the full range of customer levels. This person should have a Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering or a related field and have a minimum of 5 years experience in a direct sales role for major capital equipment. Proficiency in Spanish is preferred. Additionally, this person must be able to travel with little advance notice approximately 60-75% of the time.

The general territory will be the South-Western portion of the USA including California, Utah, Colorado, Arizona and Texas, we well as Mexico.  Other accounts throughout North American region may be assigned as necessary and as the Account Manager is capable.
