Since pioneering the introduction of twin-screw extruders over 30 years ago Baker Perkins has been at the forefront of the technology. Our twin screw extruders all feature clamshell barrels and are used in a wide range of mixing and compounding applications, particularly for thermosetting material such as powder coating, toner and EMC. Other applications include granulation and spheronisation for pharmaceuticals

With an installed base of over 1,000 extruders, Baker Perkins has a dedicated team providing lifetime support for these machines. Replacement screw parts, barrel replacements and upgrades are all available. These are offered for older machines whether branded Baker Perkins or APV Baker, and whether supplied direct or through former distributors such as B&P Process Equipment. We may also be able to help you upgrade machines originally supplied by companies such as Werner & Pfleiderer and Theysohn.
